Chorus: Dere's no hidin' place down dere,
Dere's no hidin' place down dere.

Dere's no hidin' place down dere,
Dere's no hidin' place down dere;
Oh I went to de rock to hide my face,
De rock cried out, "No hidin' place,
Dere's no hidin' place down dere."

Oh de rock cried, "I'm burnin' too,"
Oh de rock cried, "I'm burnin' too;"
Oh de rock cried out "I'm burnin' too.
I want to go to hebben as well as you,
Dere's no hidin' place down dere".

Oh de sinner man he gambled an' fell,
Oh de sinner man he gambled an' fell,
Oh de sinner man he gambled an' fell;
He wanted to go to hebben but he had to go to hell,
Dere's no hidin' place down dere.
