13C - DANDOO
(The Wife Wrapped in Wether's Skin, Child, No. 277)

Contributed by Logan Esary, Indiana, 1917. University of Indiana, Bloomington.

1. There was an old man lived out in the West,
Fan doodledy damn, fan doodledy damn
Land o' klishono klingo, land o' klishomo klingo,
And he had an old frow that was none of the best,
Sing lorum florun, lorum florum,
Land o' klishomo klingo.

2. This good old man came in from the plow
And he said, "Old frow, is dinner ready now?"

3. "There's a piece of cold meat a-layin' on the shelf,
If you want any more, get it yourself."

4. This good old man jumped in a sheep fold,
And grabbed a darned old ram by the wool.

5. He hung that old ram up on an oak pin,
And then he jerked off his darned old skin.

6. He threw the skin on the old woman's back,
And made the hickories go whickety-whack.
