1. In London Street where I  did dwell,
 A butcher's   boy I loved so well
He courted me, my life away,
And  with me now he would not stay.

2. There is a strange house in this town,
Where he goes up and and sit right down,
He took another girl on his knee
And he tell her things, he won't tell me.


3. I have to grieve, I will tell you why,
