NOTES: "Come and Jine" a parody of "Come and Dine" was collected  in Apalachicola, Florida from Alton C. Morris, 1950, Folksongs of Florida, Univ. Florida Press. It has teh same melody as the hymn Come and Dine (lyrics below).

Another song (different entirely) titled "Come and Jine the Band" was found on-line but I don't have the complete lyrics:

COME AND JINE THE BAND

Come, come and be converted,
Come from wickedness and sin,
Let the devil be deserted,
Come and join the band within;
Hear us preach....

COME AND DINE- Grandpa Jones- 1975

1. Jesus has a table spread
Where the saints of God are fed,
He invites His chosen people, "Come and dine";
With His manna He doth feed
And supplies our every need:
O 'tis sweet to sup with Jesus all the time!

Refrain: "Come and dine," the Master calleth, "Come and dine";
You may feast at Jesus' table all the time;
He Who fed the multitude, turned the water into wine,
To the hungry calleth now, "Come and dine."

2. The disciples came to land,
Thus obeying Christ's command,
For the Master called unto them, "Come and dine";
There they found their heart's desire,
Bread and fish upon the fire;
Thus He satisfies the hungry every time.
Refrain

3. Soon the Lamb will take His bride
To be ever at His side,
All the host of heaven will assembled be;
O 'twill be a glorious sight,
All the saints in spotless white;
And with Jesus they will feast eternally.
Refrain

Come and Jine- Alton C. Morris, 1950

There are churches in our land
Run by wicked, worldly men;
They will stand and tell you, brother,
Come and jine!
If you'll only join our crew,
You can smoke and drink and chew,
You can be a preacher, too.
Come and jine!

Chorus: Come and jine, the preacher calleth;
Come and jine!
You can go to the parties all the time,
If you'll only pay your dues.
You can be a deacon, too,
Come and jine, the preacher calleth;
Come and jine!

All the preachers preach for pay;
They'll take fodder, corn or hay,
But they'll stand and tell you, brother,
Come and jine!
All the members dress as the world
With their rubies and their pearls,
But if you start to leave, they'll tell you
Come and jine!

You can do just as you please;
Never get down on your knees,
But you must keep on telling the people,
Come and jine!
You can get mad and have a fight,
Or drink liquor till you're tight,
And they'll let you be a full-fledged member
All the time.

You can go to picture shows,
And though all the religion oppose,
But you must tell the people,
Come and jine!
They will never turn you out
Unless you get religion and begin to shout;
Then they'll tell you to quit that stuff,
Come and jine!
