Sailor Boy- sung by Mrs. Houston in 1954 probably in Aberdeenshire for School of Scottish Studies, recorded by new music director Francis Collinson.

"Oh father, father build me a boat,
That  I be on the ocean float,
And  to ev'ry  ship that I pass by
I will enquire for my sailor boy."

She had not long sailed on the deep,
When a gallant crew she chanced to meet,
"Oh gallant crew come tell me true,
"Does my love Willie sail on board wi' you?"

"O maiden, maiden, he is not here,
He is dead and gone on this many long year."
Oh, she wrung her hands and she tore her hair
Cried, "What shall I do for my Willie dear."
