Belle (Belle from Isabel) Richards was an informant for Flanders, 1940s. Mrs. Belle Richards of Colebrook, New Hampshire was born Alice Isobel Luther in 1881. She learned ballads from her father Allan Luther, of Pittsburg, New Hampshire, who was born in Canada. Her mother was Ellen Hawes. Belle married Frank Richards (b. 1868).
